This site is a 3BHK in a high-rise apartment in Kilpauk. The clients had come to us with the requirement for a design of a home to just the couple themselves and few guests occasionally. Also they being people who love hosting parties and get togethers at their place quite frequently with a bunch of friends or family, we decided to open out few spaces, to make the house look spacious and welcoming than what it was. The requirement being for just two of them who would be staying in the home, we altered the internal planning of the apartment by doing certain civil changes, relocating few walls, accommodating bigger window openings, and relocation of a few door openings too.  We decided to unwrap the kitchen, making it an open kitchen with an island concept. We also knocked out the wall shared by the living and one of the bedrooms thus accommodating a pooja and study,  which is partitioned with large collapsible glass sliders.
